Motorola ZN300

With familiar digital camera functionality and a strong feature set, MOTO ZN300 delivers a full imaging and multimedia experience. This compact slider is packed with features that let you connect, capture and share your view of the world through photos, videos and social networking1.

Size and Weight :
The phone measures 95.6 x 46 x 15 mm and weights 103g.

Network and connectivity:
The handset supports of 2G Network (GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900). And also GPRS (Class 10, 32 - 48 kbps, EDGE (Class 10, 236.8 kbps), Bluetooth (v2.0 with A2DP), USB (v2.0).

Camera and Video:
Moto ZN300 also equipped with a 3 mega pixel camera with 8x digital zoom, LED Flash, fixed focus, 5-20 frames per second of video capture as well as playback abilities. There is a dedicated camera key, and some photo and video editing software (Video mixer). Motorola claims the pictures or videos that you captured will have easy publishing to facebook, MySpace and Youtube by this Motorola ZN300.

Memory and Display:
The device has a huge capacity to store up to 2000 numbers, and saves 20 call records (Dialled, missed, and received). Along with a shared 8 MB memory, the phone accepts microSD (TransFlash) up to 16 GB. It comes with nice 240 X 320 pixels resolution display and shows 262 K colors which looks nice but a bit lesser in color than its competing devices like Nokia 6303 which shows full 16M Color range.

Entertainment Features:
The Motorola Zn300 has a built-in music player, and an FM Radio. The music player supports all popular formats such as MP3/WMA/eAAC+, MPEG-4/WMV/3gp and there is a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Other organizer functions of the phone include Clock, Alarm, and Calculator, Calendar, and To-do list. Voice memo, Video mixer, multiple numbers / contact, Facebook, Myspace, YouTube and Photobucket apps are some other interesting feature of this marvel. Popular pre-loaded social networking services1 - Facebook, MySpace, Photobucket and YouTube - give you the ability to publish photos, videos and blog postings, with just one click. You can then easily share clips via MMS to friends and family so you always stay in touch and show the snapshots of your world. At first look the music player may look very basic but it has an interesting feature called Music ID. If you like a song that is playing anywhere near you can record the song and it will identify the name of the song for you.

As a mid-range phone, the Motorola ZN300 truly is a good handset that packs in great design and attractive features. We love the new design and social network friendly applications. However, there are many other mid-range phone out there, ZN300 definitely facing a tough competition and the wining point for ZN300 probably is the new and fresh design.
