Toshiba K01

Toshiba has complemented its launch of the TG02 by bringing out a version with a QWERTY keyboard the K01. A slim, wide, sexy, Windows Mobile, and powered by a 1 Ghz processor. Both Will and I managed to get some playtime with the devices, and although the K01 slider didn’t have any proper software running on it just yet, the hardware remained impressive.

Size and weight:
The Toshiba K01 is very slim phone. It measures 122 x 65 x 12.9 mm.

Network and connectivity:
The networking features are 2G Network (GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900), 3G Network (HSDPA 2100). And the connectivity features are GPRS (Class 10, 32 - 48 kbps), EDGE (Class 10, 236.8 kbps), 3G 9HSDPA, HSUPA), WLAN Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), Bluetooth (v2.0 with A2DP), USB (microUSB).

Memory and Display:
It has an internal memory of 256 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM. Which can be expanded up to 32GB. There's a 4.1-inch capacitive touchscreen. With 480×800 resolution.

Camera and Video:
It has a camera of 3.15 MP with autofocus. And the picture resolution are 2048x1536 pixels. Video capable of VGA resolution with 30fps.

Entertainment Features:
Its media player supports MP3/MP4. Also can run Facebook and YouTube apps. Also has Browser (WAP 2.0/xHTML, HTML (IE)), Radio, Games. The Toshiba Media Controller (TMC) software allows users to stream content across connected multimedia devices with ease, regardless of screen size. Users can share media from their handset to a PC, notebook, or television, and vice versa across a network (whether a home network, enterprise network or WLAN), using the easy to set-up device.
